Arabic Designer - Etihad In-flight publications
ITP Customer Publishing is looking for a talented, hardworking and passionate designer to work across the Etihad Airways group of in-flight publications.
Etihad Airways is the national airline of the UAE and flies from Abu Dhabi to over 60 destinations worldwide. ITP produces four publications for Etihad Airways: Etihadinflight, the monthly travel and lifestyle in-flight magazine for Economy Class guests; Aspire, the monthly business and luxury travel publication produced for Etihad’s First and Business Class guests; Ignition, produced once a year to coincide with the FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX; and Boutique, the duty free catalogue which is produced three times a year.
The primary responsibilities for this position are to manage the design and layout for all pages in the Arabic sections of all four magazines, whilst working closely with the Group Art Director and to assist with any layouts for the English sections of the magazines, when necessary. The role also entails the translation of the brand’s design philosophy into ancillary projects including; media kits, print and digital ads, sales letters, digital content and other related collateral.
Specific requirements are:
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Minimum 5 years’ magazine experience as a mid-weight designer or senior designer.
• Excellent proficiency in the latest version of InDesign CS, Photoshop CS and Illustrator CS.
• A degree or relevant equivalent qualification.
• An outstanding portfolio that shows a variety of design work.

Catalogues Editor - Customer Publishing
ITP Customer Publishing is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Editor to work on a broad range of publications. The role will including editing all show dailies, previews and catalogues for major exhibition and event organisers in the United Arab Emirates.
The job entails:
• Writing, rewriting, layout, sub-editing and proofreading material for the various publications
• Liaising with and supporting the freelance Arabic editor and Arabic senior designer, ensuring all pages are signed off in a timely manner
• Briefing freelancers for certain publications
• Preparing annual schedules for all publications
• Sending pages to clients
• Ensuring all client debriefs and changes are met
• Flat planning each publication, whilst working closely with the Sales Manager
