Fashion and Beauty Editor - Grazia

The Grazia Group in the Middle East is looking for a Fashion and Beauty Editor. The dream candidate will have at least five years’ experience on a national or international title, impeccable writing and styling skills and will thrive on working in a fast-paced, weekly environment as part of a talented team.

Experience of shoot production and styling still-life fashion and beauty pages is essential, as is a red-hot regional and international contacts book to ensure Grazia remains first for fashion news and exclusives in the region, both in print and across all social platforms.

This is a full-time position, based at our prestigious offices in Dubai Media City. Overseas travel may be required as part of the role.

Housekeeper

We are looking for an enthusiastic, trustworthy and well-presented person to join our busy Housekeeping team.

You will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the office, carrying out your duties discreetly, proficiently and to high standards. You must be able to work with minimal supervision and pay close attention to detail, particularly in relation to cleanliness and hygiene.

Deputy Editor, Time Out Abu Dhabi

ITP Publishing is looking for a Deputy Editor to join Abu Dhabi’s premier weekly consumer magazine, Time Out Abu Dhabi.

This exciting and fast-paced role involves planning, writing and editing weekly content covering the biggest and best venues and events in the capital of the UAE, as well as assistance in managing a talented and dedicated editorial team.

ITP Business is looking for an experienced Editor to take the helm of MEP Middle East.

MEP Middle East is a BPA audited B2B title, with a target audience of mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractors working in the Middle East. The role:

ITP Consumer Publishing is looking for an ambitious and talented Editor in Chief to manage and lead the Editorial of the magazine, digital platforms and all brand extensions including events, working in collaboration with Marketing and Advertising and reporting to the Publishing Director.

To be at the helm of Harper's Bazaar Interiors, the Editor-in Chief’s judgment, vision and decisions should be able to reach and grow the target audience and maintain Harper's Bazaar Interiors as a “must read”, despite competition across multiple media platforms. The role requires someone who can create content in print and digital platforms with a forecasting eye towards mobile.

Desired profile:

The ideal candidate should be an experienced Editor with at least 8 years proven journalism experience across female targeted, luxury and consumer design focused magazines. Crucially, they must be flexible and have a can-do, positive attitude which shows they are respectful, responsible and dedicated, and by default demonstrate passion, brand understanding and leadership.

We are looking for someone who is dynamic, proactive, and tenacious and likes to work in a multicultural environment. An individual who is accountable, socially smart and extremely organised, someone who uses their own initiative and loves to communicate and work as part of a team.

Key responsibilities:

• To be the Harper's Bazaar Interiors Brand Ambassador, Advocate and Spokesperson to both readers and the marketing and communications industry, taking ownership of Luxury Living in the Middle East
• To strategically lead and direct the editorial team on the creation and production of all editorial content; across the monthly magazine, digital & social platforms, content used at reader events and any other brand extensions
• To manage the flatplan of each issue of the main magazine, special editions and bespoke supplements
• To understand the luxury interiors and design consumer market and be able to lead the editorial team to connect and communicate with the affluent women reading the magazine and leading a fashionable life
• To take ownership of the cover story, shoot and interview for each issue, maintaining the international standards of the magazine with exclusive interviews and international celebrities
• To recognise regional talent and create a platform to celebrate and showcase these people and brands on an international level
• To write and edit accurate and engaging copy, displaying journalistic discipline and rigour which is aspired to by the team
• To managing the budget to produce the magazine each month
• To understand and work within the commercial realities of publishing in the Middle East
• To plan and edit content syndicated from Harper’s Bazaar’s international network to ensure local relevancy
 

Additional information:

Reporting to the Publishing Director, the Editor in Chief will produce a bi monthly magazine (6 issues per year) plus supplements which will continue to grow in to Digital and Events. The position is located at ITP Head Office, Dubai Media City. Candidates should appreciate that most of the work is office-bound, official hours are 9:00am – 6:00pm however out of hours work and event attendance is expected.
