• Writing and delivering a sourcing plan considering local and international buying opportunities

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience in a similar role and have proven skills in contract management, negotiation and both strategic and tactical procurement. Technical understanding is essential as well as experience in driving down TCO.
The successful candidate will have relevant degree qualifications and CIPS / MCIPS will be highly advantageous.

In addition, we are looking for someone who has:
• Intermediate knowledge in print production
• Experience in supplier management
• Good contract and price negotiation experience
• Experience in project management and knowledge
• Analytical Skills to work with multiple vendors to determine the best deals for the company, and have to evaluate the many pros and cons of each, based on price, quality, speed of delivery and other factors.
• Decision-Making Skills and the ability to use the information gathered by yourself and the purchasing agents to make decisions on behalf of your company.
• Math Skills, needed to analyse prices and get the best deals possible

We are looking for inspirational, highly effective and creative Senior Sales Managers to join our business-to-business publishing team.

Selling across print, digital, awards programmes and events, candidates will champion sales, manage top client accounts, and personally lead the commercial charge on one of our core brands. A successful track record in sales, excellent communication skills, a passion for meeting clients, and building relationships is a must; while previous management experience of monthly or weekly magazines is highly desirable.
