IT Support Executive

We are currently recruiting for an IT Support Executive to join our team at our offices in Dubai Media City.

Duties and responsibilities include:
• Interacting with clients to resolve basic and complex help desk issues, in a timely manner and based on business priorities
• Providing technical support for clients using the network
• Responding to enquiries from staff, administrators and service providers, to provide technical assistance and support
• Troubleshooting and resolving computer and telephone related issues, as and when reported
• Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment in a Microsoft Windows environment (servers, printers, computer workstations, etc.)
• The implementation of IT operations, computer hardware, operating systems, communications, software applications, data processing and regular maintenance

To be at the helm of Harper's Bazaar Interiors, the Editor-in Chief’s judgment, vision and decisions should be able to reach and grow the target audience and maintain Harper's Bazaar Interiors as a “must read”, despite competition across multiple media platforms. The role requires someone who can create content in print and digital platforms with a forecasting eye towards mobile.

Desired profile:

The ideal candidate should be an experienced Editor with at least 8 years proven journalism experience across female targeted, luxury and consumer design focused magazines. • Degree in communications design (or similar concentration) is desired
• Experience in interactive design and web development
• Agency or interactive department experience is preferred
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
• Strong understanding of modern accessibility and web standards including HTML5/CSS3
• Proficiency in JavaScript including frameworks such as jQuery
• Implementing designs for CMS systems such as WordPress

Other skills that we would like to see, but not essential:
• The ability to work with GIT
• Understanding editorial, marketing and sales to communicate effectively
• Adobe Flash and ActionScript for creating complex & simple ads
• Basic PHP/Python skills
