ITP's Environmental Group is a staff-led body that aims to lead the company's involvement in building awareness of environmental issues and to take part in community and industry-wide initiatives that have a positive impact on the environment. The Group is also charged with overseeing the development and ongoing operation of sound environmental policies for the company in its operations.

The Group aims to:

• Raise awareness of the environmental impact of business activities.
• Champion environmental campaigns within the company's facilities.
• Raise awareness and contribute to the reduction of staff carbon footprints at work and home
• Offer volunteer programmes to staff.
• Drive collaboration between the company, its staff, national and regional environmental organisations.
• Ensure that the company's facilities are operating to minimise environmental impact wherever possible.
• Maintaining and ensuring adherence to the latest standards of practice.

The implementation of the various initiatives will be managed in four phases, with each phase having very specific and tangible targets.
