Job description

Time Out Dubai is looking for a Sales executive with a minimum of 3 years experience in media. Someone with a background in print and digital media

Key responsibilities

  • Sell cross platform creative solutions (print, digital, events)
  • Primary goal is to increase the creativity and sales across the print platforms
  • Maintain a client base on Time Out Dubai and support the weekly magazine, digital plaforms and supplements as required by the Commercial Director
  • Come up with, and execute, pro-active ideas
  • Identify opportunities in the market and monetize
  • Understand the competitive landscape
  • Primary market is Dubai but share and lead big pitches in Abu Dhabi, Doha, DXB, and kids

Personal attributes and essential skills

  • Focus individual who is motivated by generating revenue
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A flexibility individual able to work on multiple projects with different time-frames

  • Have 5 years experience handling agencies
  • Excellent agency and direct client contact list
  • A solid understanding of the media landscape
  • A good understanding of cross-platform selling and managing creative executions
  • Ability to sell against competitors by being able to articulate the Time Out proposition
  • Excellent relationship building skills
